Eff is short for effect to indicate that their special summon/draw/etc is part of an effect.

Re: Yu-Gi-Oh General Thread

This is an old deck from 4 years ago. I made a few tweaks here and there so feel free to use it. It won't be as fast as any of the meta decks, but it's still fun to use.

monsters 20
3x caius the shadow monarch
3x cyber valley
3x d.d. scout plane
3x d.d. survivor
2x mobius the frost monarch
3x raiza the storm monarch
2x thestalos the firestorm monarch
2x tragoedia

spells 13
1x allure of darkness
1x dark hole
3x dimensional fissure
2x enemy controller
1x foolish burial
1x mystical space typhoon
1x reinforcement of the army
3x soul exchange

traps 7
3x macro cosmos
1x solemn judgment
2x solemn warning
1x starlight road

The deck's purpose is to use D.D. Survivor and Scout Plane as tribute fodder for the monarchs. Needs Fissure or Macro Cosmos to work.
The ideal opening hand would be a monarch, a fissure/macro, a scout plane/survivor, and some protection.
Cyber Valley's second effect combos well with D.D. Survivor and Scout Plane since they return at end phase when removed, and can help stall if you have a bad draw.
Tragoedia is a good tribute fodder and beatstick.
Use allure on D.D. Scout Plane if possible, but otherwise gives good draw power.
Use Foolish Burial on D.D. Scout Plane, but I considered taking it out for another MST.
Reinforcement to search for Survivor.
Starlight road is to help protect Fissure or Macro.
